Popeye the Sailorman- bohater legendarnej kreskówki Segara odwiedził wioskę Poeya na Malcie. A historia wioski jest krótka: w 1980r. Robert Altman postanowił przenieść szpinakowego superbohatera na duży ekran, idealnym miejscem okazała się zatoka Anchor Bay a superbohaterem Robin Williams. W ciągu 7 miesięcy  lokalny krajobraz zmienił się w bajkowy świat i choć filmowi z 1980r. brakuje kontrastów i barw to obecna atrakcja turystyczna tętni kolorami i przyciąga młodych i młodych sercem, a Popeye poczuł się jak w domu.

Popeye the Sailorman- the hero of the legendary Sedgar's cartoon visited Popeye's Village in Malta. And the story of the village is very short. In 1980 Robert Altman decided to put his spinach superhero on a big screen. Anchor Bay occurred to be the ideal place and Robin Williams- superhero. During the next 7 months the local landscape changed into a fairytale world and thoug the moovie from 1980 lacks contrasts and tones the present tourist attraction teeming with colours and attracts young ang young by heart and Popeye feels like home.
